Menu Monday

Happy Monday. I haven't done a menu Monday in a few weeks, mostly because we have had so many weeknight plans we haven't been cooking at home! This week is back to normal.... Only one week night event.

Monday - flat out pizzas. Have you seen these at the market? They are high in protein Jane fiber and low calorie. They make fantastic thin crust inidividual pizzas! I will be using red Italian sauce, mozzarella cheese, and diced red peppers for toppings.

Tuesday - whole wheat pasta with chicken sausage, a staple in our house. I will also throw in some quartered artichokes.

Wednesday - chicken, corn, black bean, tomato salad with whole wheat tortillas to make it into a wrap too!

Thursday - we have an Oklahoma Blood Institute event from 6-8, we will meat some appetizers there and then either pick up subway on the way home or make sandwiches at home. This will depend on my energy level!

Friday - something easy! Probably frozen pizza or leftovers.

What is in your meal plan this week?

Baby Vincent Update: Week 30

I am completely behind this week! We had three evening events this week and work was crazy, but here is this weeks update! (Not sure why but the pics this week are not very clear)

I am still feeling good, very pregnant, but good! Grant is moving a lot and taking up so much room. I am still getting in regular workouts, but I am more tired than a few weeks ago.

Our crib and dresser arrived this week but they are still in boxes. I am getting excited to get started on putting the nursery together!

Our next appointment is Wednesday so I will definitely update sooner next week.

What I'm loving Wednesday

Happy Wednesday! I am having a busy day in the middle of a busy week, but wanted to share some things I am loving!

I'm loving... That some co-workers had birthdays and we got them a delicious cake! Sugar overload, but it is so good!

I'm loving... That bond and I are going to the theater to night to see Call Me Madam (it's a musical)!

I'm loving some great pinterest finds...

I'm loving... As always my wonderful husband! This picture is just over 4 years old, it was taken at our law school graduation party. I put it up because the Oklahoma Bar exam is going on right now and we were reminiscing about the simmer we took the Bar on our way to work this morning.

Baby Vincent update: Week 29

We had another check up today so I waited to post an update. Grant had a good string heartbeat at 138 beats per minute and everything else was good too.

This week the temperatures have crossed to triple digits with no relief in sight so I am spending pretty much all my time indoors.

I am really liking peanut butter right now! With jelly, with bananas, with chocolate, on bread, waffles, spoons....

I am also keeping up with exercise, the elliptical for longer workouts and standing prenatal yoga for shorter workouts. We are still very busy, but i am making sure I relax when possible and get to bed early! Our next appointment is in two weeks, but I will continue the weekly updates!!

Menu Monday

It's Monday again so here is my menu for the week.

Monday - we are grilling tonight! And by we I mean My amazing husband has volunteered to grill tonight, I do the prep work. We are grilling chicken and green peppers. I am planning on putting some basic spices on the chicken for some added flavor. I will make either rice or quinoa to go with our grilled goodies!!

Tuesday - we are attending a 7 pm meeting at church and plan in picking up some subway for dinner.

Wednesday - whole wheat pasta with chicken spinach asiago sausages and quartered artichoke hearts.

Thursday - something easy, probably a frozen pizza

Friday - we have no plans yet Friday, but it is my sis's 24th birthday so we will probably do something to celebrate!

Baby Vincent Update: Week 28

I am way behind on blogging again this week! I am almost 29 weeks (by some calculators I already am!) but here is an update anyway :)

I am definitely into the third trimester. Last weekend my energy just disappeared. I took an epic nap on Sunday, the kind that hasn't happened since week 11, and was still ready for bed early. So lots of tired this week. But also excited about "baby boot camp" this weekend. Bond and I signed up for all the classes our doctor/hospital offer jammed into one weekend.

I decided to squeeze into the shirt I had been using for baby updates one last time, but I think I am officially too big for it to be comfortable so I will be using alternate shirts from now on.

We also made some purchases last weekend for Grant. A crib, dresser/changer combo, car seat and stroller. Then we started our registry, which is almost finished. I have done it online, but Target is one of the places we registered so people should be able to fins things in stores if they want. My goal is to finalize it Friday evening.

One last belly pick for the week...

Baby Vincent update: week 27

So week 27 is about over but we were on a wonderful trip to San Francisco and then celebrating July 4th, so here is what is happening this week...

I had a really good time eating all the delicious cuisines found in San Francisco!

And this is the cute dress my sis altered for the 4th of July!

We had a check up yesterday as well and Grant had a good heart beat at 138 and everything looked right on track. We start visits every two weeks now!

Have a great weekend!
