Arc Notebook System

Staples has a customizable notebook system called Arc.  I am not sure if it is new or just new to me, but I am loving it so far.  I am definitely a nerd when it comes to office supplies.  I get so excited about new notebooks and post-its!

This notebook acts like a spiral notebook, but the rings are actually solid plastic with an edge to them that allows the special paper to spin.

You can easily take out a page and then put it back in.

It is available in 2 sizes and multiple styles.  I opted for the one with the harder cover and pockets on the inside cover.  This is much for functional for meetings and hearings.  But some of the other covers are really cute...

The notebook I bought comes with a set of lined paper.

There are several types of paper to add or switch it out with, including planning and graph paper.  You can also accessorize it with tabs, pockets, dividers, or even a tab of post-it notes!  I got the pockets and the dividers.

Overall I think this customizable notebook is a great idea!  Obviously I am a big nerd about office supplies and organization.  What do you get nerdy about?

Closet Organization Project

I have been working on organizing my craft/gift wrapping closet.  I store all my crafts supplies, scrapbooking items, and gift wrapping in this closet, and it had gotten out of control.  So I invested in some organizational items.  I started with stacking drawers and worked from there.  The only thing I couldn't find in a store was storage for my wrapping paper.  So I went to The Container Store online and ordered one...
Yes I am that nerdy about organization... and yes I got so excited when it arrived...

So then I took it upstairs and added the handful of rolls of wrapping paper

Bella thought it was very interesting...

Then I picked out the perfect place in the closet.  It is really coming along.  Only a few more boxes to go through and put into new and fun organization!

The next step is is to see if these organizational cubes can work for me.  Maybe with some cut canvas baskets...

Please send me organizational tips!

Preparing for a Trip

Being the type A personality that I am, I make lists and plans for everything, especially travel.  Bond and I have a trip planned to Napa Valley and it is rapidly approaching.  We are going with two other couples for 6 days.  I am starting my packing list and to do list today.  Over last weekend I was running errands for our trip and had the idea to buy water bottles so we all stay hydrated.  Only 4 of us needed them, so I got us and one of the other couples these cute water bottles from Bed Bath & Beyond.

They are aluminum, fit into cup holders, clip on to bags, plus they are really cute!

I also got this...

It’s a wine tasting journal!  On the inside each page has a location to write down likes dislikes, flavor, and more.

I am so excited for this trip!!  Can you tell??

Sunday Routine

Our normal Sunday routine is early church, and by early I mean really early, we attend the 8:00 a.m. service. Then Bond goes to the office for the morning and I head to the grocery store. It's great to hit the supermarket early on Sunday. I get there about 9:05 a.m. and breeze through the isles. I am usually home by 10:00 a.m. feeling good since I have already accomplished several things on my todo list.

Once I get home from the grocery store I unload everything and put it away. This leads to a massive fridge clean out. I grab all the left overs and decide what stays and what goes. Then I start on some other "todo's"... get laundry started, clip coupons from the Sunday paper, vacuum, etc. Then it's time for lunch. I try to keep it light and use up leftovers from the week before.

Today I had some left over refried black beans and spinach so I threw it together on a carb balance low calorie tortilla with salsa and sour cream.

It really hit the spot! The great thing about our Sunday routine is that by the time Bond gets home, which is usually just in time for lunch, I have gotten most of my "todo" list done and we can hangout, walk the dogs, take a nap, read, watch sports, basically whatever we want.

What is your Sunday morning routine?
